New Jersey Wedding Photography – Anna & Chris and First Kiss

You may recall from their earlier engagement session post that there was something extra special about the wedding of Anna and Chris – they would be sharing their first kiss together.  In light of this wonderful occasion, I’ve decided to do something a little different with this post by displaying all images prior to their first kiss in black and white, while their first kiss and all images thereafter are shown in vivid color.  Thank you Anna and Chris for giving me the honor of photographing your beautiful wedding and entrusting me to document such a special occasion!!

After Anna prepared for this extraordinary day at her parent’s home, we departed for Ashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Voorhees, New Jersey, where Chris was awaiting her arrival for their joyous wedding ceremony.

One thing I loved so much about Anna and Chris’ wedding ceremony, was that everyone seemed aware that they had waited patiently for this moment to share their first kiss.  Even the Officiant, Pastor Warren, was so moved by this special occasion that he couldn’t resist tearing up after having witnessed the tender moment shared by this remarkable couple.

The romance of the moment was followed by a bit of humor, since Anna and Chris couldn’t resist a second round of kissing after the first had ended (a good sign I would say), and Pastor Warren cracked a joke that most couples only kiss once after getting permission.  Everybody had a good laugh at this, including Anna and Chris.

After the ceremony we spent a short amount of time on formal wedding photographs at the church, and Anna and Chris departed for their reception through a cloud of bubbles.

After arriving at Indian Spring Country Club in Marlton, New Jersey, the site of their wedding reception, Anna and Chris enjoyed their first dance together, followed by the parent dances.  Shortly thereafter, the best man gave a funny and heartfelt toast, and the father of the bride gave a touching speech wherein the love for his daughter was palpable.

At the conclusion of their dinner, Anna and Chris joined me for a bit on the grounds of the country club so I could capture images that would forever show their joy on this very special day.

To see another wedding I photographed at Indian Spring Country Club, please check out my earlier post for Jessica and Jonathan’s wedding reception.
